What is a line ?
Line: A line can be defined as a straight set of points that extend in opposite directions. it has no ends in both directions (infinite) it has no thickness. It is one dimensional. A line is usually represented by (↔).
Imagine that the line segment from A to B is extended beyond a in one dimensional and beyond B in the other direction without any end. This is a model for a line.
One dimensional: lines only have length, not width or height.
Straight: a line is perfectly straight, without any curves and bands.
Extends infinitely: a line continues forever in both directions without any endpoints.
For example
a square is made by four lines of the same length, whereas a triangle is made by joining three lines end to end.
